Staff Analysis of the Legislation

HB 343 amends Code Section 27-3-1 of the OCGA to raise the minimum fines for unauthorized hunting on private grounds. A $1,5000 minimum fine is imposed for second offenders within a two-year period, and a $3,000 minimum fine is imposed for third or subsequent time offenders within a three-year period.
